Oh. My. Gawd. I'm as amazed that I'm here as you are. Know why? See, I lost my LJ password some time ago, as indicated by the face that it's been nearly a year since my last entry. I've since moved to my own little Blogspot, which- believe it or not- I update daily. I kid you not. I'd given up hope on figuring out the password to this thing, but as I might be joining an RP on LJ soon I decided to attack the login page with renewed determination. And finally, I prevailed. I'm thoroughly attached to my Blogspot now, though, so this will be exclusively for roleplaying and stuff. So, if you've still any interest in my silly little adventures, pointless remarks, and daily life, go to the link above. You can even put my updates on your Google homepage! xD Just go to Add Content, click on "Add by URL" next to the search box, and paste this URL: http://tozoku.blogspot.com/atom.xml Exciting! |

I don't really feel like making an actual entry. I rarely do. But I just wanna say... that I'm sitting here on my couch using a laptop, after just getting back from seeing The Producers on my first real date with what I can now call my boyfriend with my parents' permission, about to plug in my official Nintendo Wi-Fi Connector and play some Animal Crossing: WW online, eating some Pocky, and thinking about the friends I have and I realize: I really do like my life. </corny> |

To absolutely nobody's surprise, I've been neglecting my LJ again. There's plenty of stuff I want to make entries about, and I will soon, but today I just want to let y'all know something. Today is my anniversary with Casey. We've been together for exactly a year and I'm just so happy that there are no words. I'm being completely cheesy and I don't even care, that's how much I love him. xD;; So yes... Hai-chan has made this past year amazing. And I'm going to go away now, before I destroy any more respect that might be left for me. <333 |

Squee, squee, squeeeeeeee. Shadow had awesome happy funness time at the dance. It was super freezing outside so I almost died on the way in, and again on the way out. Hai-chan did his best to keep me warm but I was shaking too much. x.x;; Woot for couples that can't dance. Well, slowdancing is easy. But normal dancing with Hai-chan is hard because he's too embarassed. Awww. >D Jarrod-san is good at it though. Almost disturbingly. I got hugged by random people. I also got licked. o.O And I kissed Hai-chan a lot which was funny because most of our friends didn't really know we were going out and were very WTF-ish (Jamie: My eyes! MY EEEEYES!). Awesome. All went according to Gabbeh's plan except that the snogging did not take place in the loo and I still owe her ice cream or a CD. \: Wearing a dress was wierd but not totally horrible because some people were REALLY freaked out (say, Konnor, for example) and others actually complimented me. Liars. Nathan took pictures that he needs to send me and Jarrod-san took pictures which he'll post all over the Internet whether I like it or not, so I'll have some to show you soon. Also, Gabbeh/Tom is my new OTP. >D Yes, now that I have managed to establish a happyluffishawesome relationship wif Hai-chan, it is now my goal to force you two into one. DON'T MAKE ME GO ARTISTIC ON YOU. >xD |

In which all of the events leading up to tonight's horror are chronicled. Um. Got a haircut. With sort of choppy bangs and shorter hair. You can see my eyes now. o.O;; Yes. Went to get a dress of DOOM. Being inexperienced, my mom announced that we would go to Kohl's, which as I suspected had nothing. After wasting time on shoes and stupid stuff we finally wound up at Filene's, which had a decent selection. And there I found out that buried somewhere deeeeeep inside my psyche, there is a normal teenage girl who wants to beat me up for what I've done with myself. For I saw a dress and actually really liked it. It rocked. But there were only mediums and larges, and smalls are barely small enough for me. ;___; The lady at the store kept prodding me and saying how tiny I was. Ow. >.O;; Though none of the others compared to that rawksome dress that made me sad, I found some okay ones but was actually too small for the smallest sizes. x.x;; So I finally found a black one. Yeah. xx; Then the mall closed and we had to walk all the way around it (as in, outside) to get to the car. <<; My mom was having an emotional breakdown. FUN. >< We're going out shortly to get something to go with it 'cause I'm self-conscious and it's cold out. Speaking of cold, I just got back from playing at the football game. Very fun, in a masochistic sort of way. On the one hand, we played well and didn't screw up the formation and it was funny 'cause we were all suffering. On the other hand, I'm only now recovering use of my fingers. We had to march around the field to lead in the homecoming parade And not only was it cold... it was SNOWING. >__o;; Yeah. Painful and freezing, but fun anyway. Well, the doom is coming up soon. I'll be sure to inform you of the events upon my return. |

And had a party. And now I'm fifteen. Happy? And now I got a haircut. An actually different haircut. But I'm not sure if it's any good or not. <<; The apocalypse is tomorrow. For I am going to Homecoming with Hai-chan. And I am being forced to wear a dress. o.o;; Yeah. kthxbai. |

Ahhh, the joy of back-to-school entries. The big freshman year one, too. I can barely contain my excitement. >< Well, let me just get it over with, then. Uhm. High school is... not as horrible as it's made out to be, really. Now that I have a working locker (:vein: don't get me started on the lockers though) and a general sense of where I'm going, I rather like it. World History with Mr. N is teh cool. And Russian is neat. Plus I get to see my older friends now. :D The amount of random couples I have to deal with all day has skyrocketed though. I hate couples. >< (The one I happen to be part of doesn't count.) Band is great now because the people who are in it are all there because they want to be, not to get out of another class. We can play stuff now, it's awesome. We also play at football games, which I dreaded when I heard about but it turned out to be kinda fun.
So, how did I waste away the rest of my summer, you ask? Eh, doing nothing really. Playing FFVII, hanging out online at places other than LJ, and going over Hai-chan's house. "What," you ask, "just him?" Well, you see, nobody else ever invited me over. Lovely, isn't it? Well, it's my own fault for being such horrible company I guess.
I'll make a birthday entry in a bit. Or something. |

...you know, I think I've used that joke before. Oh, for the ability to resist a Q joke opportunity... M'kay, now that you're all staring at me in bewilderment, let the summing-up of the vacation begin! I actually had to keep a written journal so I could tell you guys about everything, geez.
Day one- Sunday, 6/3/05: The journey begins. Woken up by Mother at some ungodly hour in order to get ready. Ate, dressed, packed the car, and attempted not to act too zombielike. Let's see... there followed a four and a half hour drive in which I read part of "The Complete Phantom of the Opera," along with the newest issue of Shonen Jump (wewt! Thief Bakura!), Anime Insider (Spiral manga in October, huzzah), and Nintendo Power (despite the new look, I still can't take it seriously). Watched "Cowboy Bebop: The Movie" (luff!) again since Jimmy hadn't seen it. Played "Kirby: Canvas Curse" and "Super Mario 64 DS" on my brand-new blue Nintendo DS (yay for being deeply in debt!). Stopped for a picnic lunch in a random park in New Jersey, then continued to the Crayola Factory (for the record, we'd gone from Massachusetts through New York and New Jersey to arrive in Pennsylvania, where we are at the time that this is being written). Though some of it was rather child-oriented, being able to draw on just about everything is always fun. Got some white Model Magic, which I plan to abuse muchly. Then we drove for three and a half hours to the Best Western hotel where we are now, stopping at Long John Silver's for supper. At this point my parents also gave me Pac Pix for DS (they like to give us a game each so that we'll be quiet on long trips), which I'll be writing about soon in my newly made GameSpot account if you're interested (doubtful). The hotel we're staying in has an indoor pool, which means that eventually I'm going to have to put on that wretched swimsuit. Curses....
Day two- Monday, 6/4/05: Woke up at seven, which is at least an improvement over yesterday. Had breakfast at hotel coffee shop. Forced to wear short. The pain... Then, off to Hershey Park.. for the next eleven hours. Went on various rides, including Tidal Force, which effectively soaked me to the bone. Saw obligatory dolphin and sea lion show. Meals onsisted of random snacks such as Dippin' Dots, which I'd never had before. I'm actually somewhat tired out after all this, but I think we're sleeping in tomorrow. Happy Fourth and all that.
Day three- Tuesday, 6/7/05: Yep. A little moree relaxed today. Eventually went to Chocolate World, a tourist trap in Hershey where you learn about the history and creation of Hershey chocolate. And would you believe that the exit from the tour leads straight into the Hershey store... Was danced with by a giant Kit Kat bar. o_O Went on a trolley tour of Hershey, then back to the hotel room. A gewd day, methinks.
Day four- Wednesday, 6/6/05: Woke up, ate breakfast, blah blah blah. Went to a wax museum in Gettysburg, then on an auto tour (you get a CD that gives you directions and tells you facts about places as you drive by them), during which I was rather amused for some reason by the guy on the recording saying, over and over, "Now, turn me off until you reach the stop sign. Then, turn me on again." Due to my family's need to get out and take pictures at every stop, the tour took a rather long time, so when we finished we went back to the hotel.
Day five- Thursday, 6/7/05: Woke up early, got ready, ate and left for Baltimore. On the way, we stopped by a comic store- I always luff specialty places like that because the store owner can match my geekdom easily. :D We got to Orioles Park at Camden Yards by about 12:30 for a tour at one o'clock, which was kind of cool. Then, being the easily lost people we are, we killed the time between the end of the tour (about 2:45) to the time the park opens (5:30) by going to our hotel and dropping off our stuff. Drew in my sketchbook until the game at 7. Most memorable (in a very bad way) part of the game: Top of the fifth (I believe). Red Sox are at bat. Two outs. Bases loaded... and Trot Nixon gets picked off at second. x))x Let's hear it for our defending world champions... Anyway, it had been raining all night, and after the 6th inning there was n hour-long delay, until the game was simply called. Alas, the Orioles won 3-1. Went dejectedly back to the hotel (which is another Best Western. With another indoor pool. D: ) Fortunately, we have a chance of making up for it tomorrow...
Day six- Friday, 6/8/05: Woke up 'round 7:30, since there's free breakfast until nine, and God forbid my mother miss something free. Went in the pool where I entertained myself by hiding Jimmy's water ball thin. Sat around watching Star Trek and stuff. Left for the game at around 4 and wandered around, got food and stuff until it started at 7:40. Sat near a nice, drunk lady, umumum. ardly recall and game highlights now, but at least Varitek, Damon, Ramirez, etc. were back in the lineup (they had all taken a day off yesterday, go figure). Happily, we won 7-2, and even managed a full game this time. And that's about it... back to hotel, and to bed.
Day seven- Saturday, 6/9/05: Got up, had free breakfast, and left. We found another comic store which, to my joy, carried the works of the brilliant Jhonen Vasquez (more on the stuff I got later). This one had monthly anime club meetings and monthly D&D gatherings! Be still my heart. Anyway, after that we continued out of Maryland and into New York, where we're now staying with my cousins.
Day eight- Sunday, 6/10/05: This morning my aunt made some most excellent waffles. We spent some time sort of hanging around, and I managed to start a GameSpot account. I also gave in to a temptation I've been fighting off for a while and started a myOtaku blog, for all my spontatneous-reviews-of-anime-and-manga needs. Then we said farewell to my aunt, uncle, cousins, and Georgie, their awesomely psychotic dog, and began the long drive home, which continues as I write this.
Afterthoughts- Sunday, 6/10/05: Loot acquired: ~As "take this and be quiet" gifts from parents: -Mythical Detective Loki RAGNAROK volume 2 -Pac Pix -Rurouni Kenshin volume 15 ~Bought with vacation spending money: -SQUEE! issues 1 and 2 -Johnny the Homicidal Maniac issue 1 -Di Gi Charat Theater: Dejiko's Adventure volume 1 -DNAngel volume 2 -Angelic Layer volume 1 Also, broke in my new sketchbook and journal, and started an Angelic Layer doujinshi. Final thoughts? Well, I did miss you guys, and had a few pangs of longing for my computer and my gaming consoles. But really, it was fun and I got to go to lots of places I'd never been to before. It's nice to be back home, though. Now, let the unpacking begin... |

In case anyone was not informed: Tozoku will be on vacation starting early Sunday (tomorrow) morning. It is a secret anniversary trip, so my dad hasn't told us many details, but we should be back within a week, maybe more. Once we're back, I'm doing nothing almost all summer, so I should be on the computer a lot more. ^__^ Also, let it be known that when I return, I will be starting a 1UP blog for all of my gaming-related exploits. But let it be known that the Spyro thing I told you about was finished a few days later, with, I believe, 127% (highest it would go, alas). Oh! And before I forget, saw Howl's Moving Castle. LUFF. More on that when I get back to update. Baibai till then~! |

Let's roll up to be a single star in the sky! :D ... -cough- Yah.
Well, I have a lot of time, so I may as well catch my nonexistent readers up on past events. Gah, it's been so long... Ah... as I mentioned earlier, depressed Tozoku is now most definitely happy Shadow. Which is a good thing, unless it disturbs you to see me happy. Which may well be the case with some people... Well, let's see now. SEMSBA. That was a while ago. I remember very little, except that I was dressed entirely in black- even my shoes and hair-thingy- and kept coming up behind Jack. And he thought I was a ninja. >D Oh, and the concert was fun and I had the songs stuck in my head for a while. Just thinking of it makes them come back to my head... Na-na-na-naaaaa, na-na-na-na-na-na-naaaaaaaaaaaa! Na-na-na-naaaaa, na-na-na-naaaaaaa, na-na-na-NAAAA! xD;; ...'kayI'mdone. Um. Random stuff happens. Ah... there's the 8th grade socialmabob. I wore a turtleneck and my hair was different and I bet I looked even worse than usual. Heh. I went with Jeanette and we brought our sketchbooks and avoided people. A few vaguely disturbing moments. And cameras, one of the top ten on Shadow's list of evil. My picture was taken soooo many times... D: Actually, maybe I'll make a friends-only post with some random photos sometime. Anyway, Rick had a very large amount of cups of Pepsi, the exact number of which I now forget, but I believe was over forty. Eh, anyway, despite it all, it was somewhat entertaining. x_x Agh, I can't remember anythiiiing... let's just hope I'm not skipping that much and go to the end of the school year- our last year of middle school. Whoo. Mrs. Robertson got me an awesomely giant new sketchbook and a new journal because I won an English award and I ish happy. Between the socialdancewhateveryoucallit, the award ceremony presentation, the second-to-last day of school, I was subjected to the Vitamin C song "Graduation" four times, three of which were in the span of two days. O__< Not that there's anything wrong with the song itself, but... gah! And everyone was getting emotional over it every time, even at the dance when there were still at least three weeks of school left. No offense to anyone who did, o'course. x_x M'gonnabequietnowkay. Yah. Yesterday (Wednesday), the last day of school, was also when I went to the local insanely expensive carnival with Jeanette. Which was kinda fun, save for a few incidents which I shall recount in a moment. But first: went on rides which I was too small/light for and was therefore thrown back and forth (I have bruises on my legs. D: ). And... ah... my dad needs sleep. I'll finish later. Cheerio!

Well, that last one probably scared half of you off, hm? ^^; So very sorry. Actually, whatever impression it gave you, the opposite is probably true. Shadow's actually been rather happy of late... which doubtless scares most of you off anyway. Happy Shadow tends to be scary to people. Ah well. Hmhmhm, where does one even begin? I don't even think I can begin to summarize how much I've missed since last I updated (I mean really updated, not just an announcement or excuse for not updating). Perhaps t'would be better if I just started afresh, eh? I'll probably be able to update more often from now on. Meanwhile, I shall post randomness from the past month: Spontaneous PS1 game obsession: Beat Spyro the Dragon with 120% (I am so proud of my obsessiveness). Then beat Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! with 100% (alas, it could go no higher). Current status on Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon is 57% (I started yesterday). Please feel free to either laugh at or worship me now. Ah, everyone from Gaia is probably wondering where I am now, so I'll continue some other time. |

So um... I seriously doubt that this will be as long as it usually would be, but yes. Halloween. I didn't remember that it was coming up till the last second 0_o;; so I had to use my Link costume from a few years ago. Pointy ears are fun, except when other people try to steal them. People kept trying to get behind me and make me paranoid. Yes, I was feeling very paranoid. Well... some pretty interesting costumes there were, anyway. Probably the most... unique... was Vaga’s ‘Zorro, the one-horned Viking- WITH A SKELETON HAND!!!’ costume. O_o;; Anyway, we started out with nine people (Haipazaru-san, Vaga, Hosoku, Uberlegen, Nataka, Vince, Vince’s friend, Xero, and I), then we lost Vince and his friend (the name was Zach, I believe) after a few houses. I was kind of avoiding Haipazaru-san because I was afraid he might be irritated at me after our... conversation on IM, and anyway I wanted to test the theory that his mood improves when I’m not bugging him (which still seems to be true, judging from the incident on the bus on Wednesday). This did not go over well, which I kind of feel bad about now. Anyway, he had to leave very quickly, but on the upside I now actually know what his house looks like (sad, isn’t it?). The basement reminds me of Anthony’s house... good times, good times... moving on, had a very interesting discussion with Vaga involving zombie hordes. Vaga and Xero eventually had to leave too. Note to self: Uberlegen takes it literally when told to ‘get away’. This is bad. It was pretty fun, though. I mean, I got candy. Which is always good. |
